Those Horribly annoying moments when....

....You REALLY want to tell your friend something but you don't because you don't know how they'll respond.
Even though you're best friends with the person, you still think that if you tell them things that bother you that have something to do with them (Even if it's the smallest ittiest bittiest thing) they'll still judge you and belittle you for it.
You have no proof that they will
But even so, you still refrain from saying a word

For fear of losing their respect or some aspect of their friendship.

And so you figure that if you can't tell your friend, why not someone-a youth leader from church- that you're comfortable talking to and being around?
Yes, that'll totally work!

But you still don't say one word.
Because you don't know how  they'll take to it. You don't want their pity-your pride won't let you- but you also don't want them to think that you're jealous even though you suspect that you are. Won't that just make them think little of you too? Even if it's just a smidgen??

And even when you do sort of make up your mind... you can't find them. And then when you do, they're busy talking to someone, and you'd feel like a nuisance for taking them out of their possibly important conversation just to wallow in your own self pity of feeling underneath another's shadow.

Or you find them... and you have that moment of doubt.

What if...?

Hey Guys! :D (Mouseshadow/Vianelli here!)

>W< Sorrry about the no-update thing on my end. Haven't really thought about blogging besides posting Journal Entries on DeviantArt. ^^; So yeah, my bad. XD
Nothing really has been happening lately... Florida still is boring and hot and overall BORING. (Yes I know I said boring twice-3 times if you count this one- but it IS so... yeah)
But I guess I do have one thing to post about! (2 actually)

1.  I'm gonna be singing with my Youth Leader Angie Marie in Generation Chosen's Praise and Worship Team! Angie will be hosting a mini-meeting after church next Wed. for everyone who wants to join her. She's known for a REALLY LOOOOONG time now that I-and Jenna/Bramblenose- have wanted to join her with that so now we are! *squee*

2. I  cannot wait for Season 4 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! IT'S GONNA BE BOSS! :D Call me lame if you will but I honestly do not care what you all think. If I like MLP then I like MLP. There are people who still like Dora the Explorer or Barbie or whatever and you don't critic them.
Anyways I may be opening a new blog for that. (because I can) but I also may not be. :) Maybe I can put 'em up as "Reviews" or "MLP:FiM" or in the "Vianelli" sub folder ya know?
Guess I'll leave that up to you guys and meh buds on dA XD

My DVD

I am making a DVD of my memories in Sioux City and I am DARN EXCITED FOR IT! I've been having a great time filming, although when I'm filming in public I might get an odd look here and there, but it doesn't matter. The DVD includes my church, my friends and my house. So I bet this clears up why some of you have been seeing me with a video camera in odd places (such as church and Kings pointe).

I am really excited to start editing this together! And thank you to all my friends who agreed to be in this video and put up with all the things I'm asking them to do.

Story Ideas

I enjoy writing but one thing I do not enjoy is trying to pick a topic for my writing. Every once in a while one will come to me (and I have an idea right now) but I was thinking maybe my friends would have some story ideas for me. If you do, then I would like to hear them (unless you plan to write them yourself). Thanks for reading!

2 weeks?

Well, it's pretty much official. We are moving before the fourth of july. That means I only have two weeks left. Today was a sob scene for me as I realized that.

There are some things I want to do before I leave. I want to take pictures and maybe film around my house, so I don't forget a single thing about it. I am also going to film the church services. I also want to get contact information on all my friends such as photos, email, address, other stuff I might want to know.

I hope reading this blog didn't make you as sad as it made me when I realized I only had two weeks left.

TV is back!

My TV is back and now I'm going to list all the things I am going to do.

1. Watch ALL THE NEW EPISODES I missed. As I am doing now.

2. Play my new Wii games, Mario Kart and White Wolf of Icicle Creek.

3. Have a cast party for The Treasure of Castle Siekfurst!

The fourth one is a toss up. I might start watching TV like I was watching it before, constantly. Or I'd learn from not having it on, and not watch it as much. Probably the first one.

I can't believe it's actually back!

My Birthday Trilogy Part Three - My Birthday

Ok, so this one is OFFICIALLY about my birthday.

So, my birthday was on Monday (the worst day EVER to have a birthday but whatever). Course I had to do school even though it was a holiday.

But none of that boring stuff, when my sister came home the first thing I asked her was "Where is my present?" so I went and opened my present and tried on all the cute stuff in there.

Then, later, we had to eat dinner out early, because Leslie and I were going to be babysitting. I chose Culver's. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Except we didn't get to eat ice cream, but more about that later.

Then, I had to babysit with Leslie. Normally, it's Mason (8), Hudson (3 or 4), and Addie (18 months). But this time, Mason was gone the whole time (still don't know where he was) and Hudson was half the time over at the neighbor's house. So for half the time, it was a pretty easy job with just one kid. Even with two kids, when Hudson got back, it was easier than usual. Then before we left, their mom warned us about a masked murderer loose. Course, that ONLY HAPPENS on MY BIRTHDAY.

But then we went to Peachwave, the best FROYO ever! I got Nutella with cookie dough.

So, in total my official birthday was fun and for a little bit I was freaked out about this Gunman, but when I realized he was at the other side of town, I calmed down.

Thank you everyone for making this birthday SO SPECIAL!

My Birthday Trilogy Part 2 - The Presents

I told you I'd be talking about presents later!

The first presents I got was from my Aunt Vicki, who stayed for the weekend a while back, and let us pick out presents. I got four Nancy Drew games. (She shouldn't have set a money limit). I got Secret of the Scarlet Hand, Secret of the Old Clock, Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon and Creature of Kapu Cave.

The second present was from my parents. They surprised us with this, I think you know this.  My fantastic new CELLPHONE!!!

Then there were all the presents at the Birthday Party. I got fifteen dollars from Elizabeth in which I spent on a Nancy Drew game. I got the Wii game, Mario Kart from Elisha (which I can't play yet :( ) and a cute shirt, sanitizer and lotion from Manvi,  a Barnes and Noble gift card from Alyssa and two Nancy Drew games for DS from Conor, Pierce and Grace!

And, from the rest of the family, I got 25 dollars for ANYTHING in the Southerns Hill Mall and 25 dollars for ANYTHING at Gamestop (Power to the players!) and Sunglasses, a bouncy ball, a cute hat, nail art, and lip gloss!

Thank you SO MUCH for all the gifts guys, there were really amazing!

My Birthday Trilogy Part 1 - The Party

I am doing sort of a birthday trilogy, I like to call it, about my birthday this year and this is the first part. I am going to be talking about the party I had three days before my birthday.

The guests were Elizabeth, Elisha, Manvi, Alyssa, Conor, Pierce and Grace. Including me, that is eight people.

We had so much fun! Elisha arrived an hour and a half early, and when it became close to time we sat at the window, and began stalking people. The second person to arrive was Manvi and she joined us along with Alyssa and Liz. Then, we started making pizzas.

For toppings we had, pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, mushrooms, olives and onions. I think that's all we had. Conor, Pierce and Grace came a little bit later, and we started a game of Who Am I?

After that, we played the create a scavenger hunt game. On one team we had Elisha, Pierce, Manvi and Grace. On the other we had me, Alyssa, Elizabeth and Conor, the only guy on our team :). We were supposed to make a scavenger hunt for each other in search of four large cookies and cream Hershey bars for each one of us. And a Peachwave gift card for everyone, but me. The other teams' was harder than ours.

Then, if I'm remembering correctly, we got our personally made pizzas and went downstair to be embarrassed by watching ourselves in Water Molecules and A Midnight Summer's Dream, two plays I wrote a LONG TIME AGO (so if you ever see them don't judge!).

That was the perfect time to announce that we were going to do a create a film activity. The teams were Conor, Pierce, Grace and Alyssa and me, Elizabeth, Manvi and Elisha. We each chose numbers to get four random props in which we had to include somehow in a film which we get to make up. Then later, the teams switched props and did it again!

Before we watched them though, we created desserts in which the teams were Elizabeth, Elisha, Grace and Alyssa and Me, Conor, Pierce and Manvi. It just so happened that the other team got the ingredient that went together best, marshmallows, whipped cream and oreos, and our team got cocoa puffs, caramel and nilla wafers, which go together in NO SHAPE OR FORM! What we didn't know was that, at the end there were names at the bottom of the bowls in which we were supposed to give that dessert too. Believe me, there was ALOT OF COMPLAINING when people got the one my team made. But, oh well.

Then we ate our desserts and watched our film. It was hilarious! There was one which was a funny commercial for resolve cleaner (OURS), one with pudding in a hat which is as clean as soap and water can make it, even though they're dogs (THEIRS), one in which a man comes onto a cooking show and begs some girl who doesn't know him to marry her (OURS), one in which a man battles germs (THEIRS).

Then we opened presents, which I will be talking about in the second book of our trilogy.

Last, but not least, we played the Dictionary game, which sounds REALLY BORING but it's REALLY FUN! We split up into four teams, Manvi and Elisha, Pierce and Elizabeth, Alyssa and Conor and me and Grace. One team finds a word which no one knows the definition of, and writes down the real definition while the other teams write down fake definitions which they THINK might be the real one. Then, when all the definition are in everyone, besides the team that put the real definition in, votes on which one they think is the real one. You get points for guessing the right one, and tricking people into thinking YOUR definition is the real one. Manvi and Elisha won, followed by me and Grace and then, I'm not positive, I think it was Liz and Pierce then Conor and Alyssa.

It was really fun, and I'm glad everyone was able to come!

Narrative of the life of Fredrick Douglass, An American Slave Review

Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave is about a slave named Frederick, who actually wrote this book himself. He talks about the trials of being a slave, and how horrible it was, for it was horrible. According to my opinion, the book is disturbing and not suited for kids in it's vivid description about horrid things that happened while he was slave. Many slaves were killed in this narrative and many more that he didn't even know. It shows how bad slavery was, so I really think people need to read this book, but once they are at the appropriate age. But, other than that, it was a good book, and I encourage you to read it.

So Quiet...

It seems so quiet here, in my house, right now. As you may have heard (or may NOT have heard), my TV is busted. The thunderstorm that happened a while back did something to our TV and now it's not getting any picture which means 1. No Cable 2. No DVDS 3. No Wii. Two words: Help me.

Sure, I got the computer still, but most of the time the TV is usually on when I'm on the computer. Whether I'm watching it or Leslie and my parents are, it's usually on. Now, with it off and all, it seems so quiet.

We called a TV guy, might be three WEEKS till we get our TV fixed. (So much for the FOCUS Players DVD Party...). Apparently the part that is not working is nearly NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. That only happens to me.

Maybe it's for the better. Maybe God wants to show me that life isn't about TVs. Maybe once the TV turns on again it'll seem like a distraction rather than entertainment. I don't know. But as for right now, there were new episodes on Saturday and I haven't watched them yet. Let's just say, I'm about to die.

Choir Concert Part Two

It's the day after the choir concert. I'm not sure if any of you who read this post actually showed up or showed up but was GOING to show up anyways, but thank you for coming.

It went fairly well, although everybody says I did a good job but I know their lying. Beforehand though, I was really nervous, fretting over every little thing that could happen. Or couldn't happen but I was still worried about it.

It was a fun night, we had some big laughs and rehearsals were really fun. This is my last choir concert with the Homeschool Choir. As you all know, I am moving in two months so I won't be in the next concert, but I hope everyone who was with me in this concert will be in it in the fall, including more people if we could.

Thanks again - Eastin

Choir Concert!

First of all, I'd like to mention how choir is spelled. Who the heck decided how to spell choir? What about the spelling of the word makes you think of choir? It makes you think of a piano chord or something.

But anyways, on to the more important topic and as you can tell by my title, it's a choir concert. That's right. A choir concert. Not a chord concert, CHOIR! It's tonight (I know short notice) at 7:30 but the younger kids are performing first.

We are going to be singing eight songs. Sing a Mighty Song, Pie Jesu (which I will be doing the narration for), When I Survey (which I have a double duet in), Abide with Me, Promise Land (or is it promiseD land??) The Journey, The Lion Sleeps Tonight (which is our SHOW choir song), and God Be With You.

I'd LOVE if you can make it, but I know it's short notice. I just want to thank you for reading this post if you can't show up. But if you are planning to show up: 7:30 PM, Church by East Middle which I am ALWAYS forgetting the name of..., and beware, there is also a choir concert going on at East Middle during that time. - Eastin

New Job

I know what you're thinking. "Took you long enough to post about your dad's fancy schmancy new job". But here I am posting about it now! So my dad got a job. It's in San Antonio, Texas. Here are the  pros and coins about this job.

Pro: It is really warm there! According to my new phone it is 82 degrees there RIGHT NOW!

Con: We are moving there during the summer so it's going to be miserable hot!

Pro: My dad finally got a job!

Con: That means I'm moving.

Pro: This is the kind of job my dad has always wanted!

Con: The company sells tomatoes which I don't like

Pro: They have all sorts of restaurants in San Antonio!

Con: I'm probably going to get fat.

There's so many pros and cons that I'm not going to bore you with all of them! I really don't know what to think about all this!

Talent Night

Talent Night is coming up for the FOCUS homeschoolers and I'm really excited. My friends and I are performing a play called "Cliffhanger". Their names are Grace and Pierce and I'm really excited because this is going to be the first time one of the performances I wrote is going to be performed live in front of an actual audience. (Geez, I hope they like it!). If you're like to come it's going to be held at Morningside Church, across from East Middle School. It'll start at 7:00 PM and is going to be held a week from today AKA 4/19/2013. Please come!

Crispin: The Cross of Lead

Crispin: The Cross of Lead is the first book in a trilogy called Crispin. It is about a boy named Crispin, whose mother died, and his father already died earlier so he is now an orphan. During this sad time, he happens to go into the forest, where he accidentally witnesses a meeting that Aycliffe and another guy he doesn't know has. Then, Aycliffe sees him and tries to kill him. The next day, Crispin was declared a wolf's head, which means whoever finds him, can kill him, because Aycliffe said that Crispin stole from him, which is a lie. So, Crispin has to run away and try to escape from the grasp of Aycliffe and he meets some interesting people on the way, including a guy named Bear. To know the rest, you must read the book. I thought it was adventurous, mysterious and explained some things about history, for it takes place in 1377. I also thought it was a good book, and I recommend it to children who are learning about this time zone, or middle schoolers.

New Story

I'm thinking about posting my latest story on the blog when I finish the first chapter, so you should look out for it! I have no idea when I am going to finish the first chapter, but I guarentee you it's going to be great. What is it? You'll have to watch for it to find out!
