Vacation

I'm on vacation! I'm at my grandparents house. All of my family lives in Kansas really, so that is where we are at. I came here to celebrate Easter with... Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, Mom, Aunt Sandy, Uncle Deston, Aunt Vicky, Leslie, my cousins Hannah and Ashlyn and... I think that's it. Maybe Auggie Hannah and Ashlyn's dog too? I don't know but so far so good.

My only problem so far is I like, stretched a muscle in my back and it hurts to jump on the trampoline they have which is my favorite activity so... yeah.

Am I Left-brained or Right-brained?

I heard there is this thing that if you are left-brained you are organized, smart, focused and you usually have an easy time remembering math, birthdays, people's names, etc. but if you are right-brained you are creative and imaginative. I don't know which one I am. I think I'm sort of organized, because I always seem to do things in an order. I check gmail, check The Lion, play on babydow, write on story, webkinz, etc. And in night I do the same thing before I go to bed only with different things. But I hate cleaning up my room, I hate doing stuff like organizing the laundry into different piles which annoys the bug out of me (my new catchphrase). I think I'm sort of right-brained because like I said before, I write on stories and I'm always coming up with new ideas! I and my friends Liz and Jordan play all sorts of games (some of them I made up). We play Mall, where you get a kid and a job and money and you can shop, throw parties all sorts of things! We play school or middle school, where one (or two if we play middle school) is a teacher and we teach usually Jordan sinced she's only in first grade and can't be the teacher. In middle school, we have a principal/teacher usually. We play house, a sort of house alot of kids play only different. We play Mystical Creatures, one I made up. See, we all usually like to play Wizards, Mermaids, Fairies, Demigods but I combined all of that and more into one game. How fun would that be? We play much more but I can already see my paragraph is strectching out too long. :) Please comment and say if I am left-brained or right-brained. Thanks!

The Play

As I posted before, yesterday we had a homeschool play. WE ARE THE FOCUS PLAYERS! Anyways, it went great! Alot of people came especially alot for the afternoon. Alot of the cast was surprised (especially my mom) that so many people came for the afternoon. The night one went well too. More people came in the night than the afternoon. The only problems were the Reverend's suspenders popped, and their was alot of little kids (you know like toddler age) and they made alot of noise and were probably distracting because they were so cute! They were, really! So some lines people didn't hear not because they weren't loud enough but because the toddlers were louder. Anyways, being repetitive her, it went pretty well and it took alot of work to put on. I hope any close friends who are seeing me soon will be able to see the show which will be on a DVD we will probably be bringing to any vacation.

My Surprise Day Off

Well, I went to bed at 9:30 last night. My mom woke me up at 9:00 saying it was time to start school! I was amazed I slept in, but oh well! I forced myself up and did my chores and I went downstairs. My mom told me since we had to do the play later we should save our energy and not do any school. I was shocked, cheerful and a little mad at mom but the madness settled easily. If you follow my mom's blog you will see that she has been talking about a homeschool drama alot. Well, I'm helping out with it. Many people are getting confused and thinking that I'm in it but it's for the older kids so.... yeah. It's today, and I'm really nervous. What if I miss my light cue? What if someone gets sick? What if I get sick? I don't get why I'm nervous though. I'm not that big a deal. They could survive without my light. I'm a substitute light so.... yeah. Well, not exactly substitute just... extra I guess.

Endangered Species

The bald eagle is our nation's bird but it is endangered! We need to save our endangered bird. Don't shoot bald eagles if you are a hunter. It will help save our nation's bird. It'll be the least you can do to help. The most you could do is save bald eagles by helping specialists take care of them or at least try to make a difference.

Your Moving? Chapter Ten

"That was exhausting!" I came in with my backpack (even though I wasn't coming from school) and plopped it and me down on the couch. "Your meeting stretched out longer than usual," my mom told me as she was dusting the TV. "Yeah, we had alot to discuss, and alot to do but all you need to know is that I have my own private phone number now because we're having meeting at my house," I told her. "Can you move out of the way of the TV?" "What did you say?" Mom turned around. "I said, 'Can you move out of the way of the TV?'" I told her again. She gave me a glare. "Before that? I got my own private phone number and we're holding meetings at my house now." "I guess that's okay," she sighed. "Have you gotten over Easter moving away, yet?" "Easter? Oh yeah, I guess I don't really think about it," I smiled. "I guess I kind of had gotten over her. I'm like the new Easter for Ava, really." "Aww! That's sweet!" she exclaimed. "That's so cute!" "It's not a big deal," I turned on the TV when she got out of the way. "But, you guys now have a better relationship. She thinks you could be your little sister and her older brother," my mom explained. "Well, probably." "Oh my gosh! Suite Life on Deck is on!" I exclaimed. I flipped the channel. "Are you listening to me?" she asked. "Yeah, yeah," I was so in to the Suite Life on Deck that I didn't hear her. She walked off to the kitchen to make dinner and I thought about what she said. I do miss Easter so much but I can't tell her.

Eastin News

Entertainment Two Voted Off of American Idol Last week, the judges used their ultimate save on Casey Abrams so now two people have to do go. That's how it is. This is the week they decide. Everybody is in anticipation on the day of performing. Everybody has to do their best to avoid getting off. If they don't hit it at the exact note, they have a great risk of leaving and there is no save to keep them on. The next night was exciting! After alot of deciding the bottom three from the others we finally came to the conclusion. The two off was... Thia and Niema. They had a nice journey and they did really well but it is the end of the long journey on American Idol.
